Rooms
Comfortable, well-appointed rooms designed for safety, comfort, and independence.
All rooms are ensuite and have a minimum size of 12 square metres. Most rooms are more than 14 square metres. Some rooms have ensuite baths, wet rooms and showers. Rooms for Physical Disability are bigger with appropriate access.
Rooms occupied by service users are provided with adequate and quality furniture, bedding and other furnishings, including curtains and floor coverings, and equipment suitable to the needs of service users.
Service users, so far as it is practicable to do so, are encouraged to bring their own furniture and furnishings into the rooms they occupy.
All rooms have CAT 5 cables for both internet and telephone communication as an option. Freeview TV channels are provided and Sky TV an option.
Communal
Social spaces and activities designed to promote community and well-being.
Service users are encouraged to promote their social interests within the home, and Ralphland Care Home make arrangements to enable them to engage in local, social and community activities and to visit, or maintain contact or communicate with, their families and friends.
Ralphland Care Home consults service users about the programme of activities arranged by our dedicated Activity Co-ordinator. We provide facilities for recreation having regard for our service users and their well-being.
